Digital solution for event marking in a social distancing environment.

A digital solution to an in person dilemma.
RBC GAM utilizes event marketing as one of it's primary strategies in converting new prospects into clients. However given the 2020 climate, in person event marketing has needed a re-imagining. As a result I proposed an online event conference which attendees can interact with and also network with financial advisors. The online platform would offer a main TED-talk like presentation followed by a Webex driven networking session and online resources accessible within platform. 
My role in this project was designing the entire navigation including the room navigation signage as well as building every web page for each digital room. I ensured the final product meets AODA and responsive design standards to ensure a consistent experience across devices.
Online never felt more real.
Each room was designed in InVision according to 6Connex platform standards for safe areas, navigation margins and click-able objects. I applied the RBC standards to ensure each room felt contemporary and also compliant with the visual identity. I also built journey maps to chart out a typical interaction path a user might follow from entry and end point. Knowing the user journey paths assisted with developing a clear to use bottom navigation as well as tailored room navigation.
