A single web solution communicating the alliance between two asset management giants.

Communicating an alliance of two brands in one design.
RBC iShares is a corporate alliance between two asset management giants, both with unique visual identities and brand promises. To communicate this new alliance we create a blended visual identity leveraging key assets from both standards. We took the bold colors of iShares and merged it with the design system of RBC GAM to arrive at this solution. 
Digitally, we needed to create a new responsive website which properly communicated the alliance using the new RBC iShares design system. This project required collaboration between multiple different design and development teams across two different firms to meet a short launch date. 
My role in this project was to assist with creating the new visual identity and laying out several RBC iShares product pages, landings pages, and thought leadership articles and learning centers.
Designing a solution for two firms at once.
I created the brand standards for this new alliance by using the iShares colour palette and RBC design system. This meant implementing iShares bold and high contrast colours with RBC's energy line feature and white space rules, and illustration standards. The priority was to keep the new brand simple and easily duplicated because multiple different designers across two different firms would be creating content under the one identity. 
On product development side I created several pages in UXPin before sharing with the development team for production. This involved utilizing a bootstrap design approach to ensure easy hand off between design and development. Having development experience before I was highly aware of creating layouts that are both visually appealing and elegant in the background markup code.
