File Management at it's Finest
After securing a $1,000,000 contract with NIKE to enable transcript data source analysis it quickly became clear that current system of storing and organizing files in the Application was unable to scale. Therefore I designed and launched an innovative file organization system which enabled users to quickly create and manage digital artifacts such as Data Sources, Dashboards, and Machine Learning Models easily.

Part of the solution included a file previewer panel which contained important information for the artifact when you needed it most. The previewer allowed the application to link related data sources and dashboards while also informing the user of the purpose of the artifact and it's contents
Devil in the Details.
Given how massive this undertaking was I invested time to ensure proper documentation was created to communicate with developers and upper management the function and purpose of every component of the project page. Not only did this accelerate development time but it also solved confusion about functionality and intention between design and engineering.
The Value of Research.
Given the time investment required to complete this project and as a best practice for any kind of Product Design I made sure to invest a good amount of effort understanding the problem and possible solutions.

Currently we are in the process of enhancing the file directory by adding User generated folders as well as Tag management filter feature.
