The scarlet scoundrel caught red handed.
"Jayce was never much of an academic student. Instead of learning engineering from the local smith, he'd recite poems of adventure at the local tavern. He'd dream of being like the heroes others would sing about. However his town was too small for his big ambitions, and he couldn't get far off an empty stomach. So he made a reputation for himself as a rogue. Wagering gold with fat cat lords in rigged games of cards, and then stealing the rest from them later before skipping town. But his luck ran dry when he was caught stealing bread from the wrong household. He intended to share some of it with some the poorer folk, but was caught by overly-vigilant knight on watch. However in a surprising turn of events, the knight let him go. Jayce dashed away, but he couldn't show his face in this town anymore. So it was time to move on. Maybe the next town will be his big break?"
________
I designed the entire Jayce model and scene. From 3D model, UV and normal mapping, hand painted textures, to weight painting and animation. I primarily modeled him using Maya and Z Brush with substance painter for textures. I also created the character's scene environment. The entire tavern front to back including models, textures, props, lighting, and compositing.
